This is a picture of the Hamas and the Hezbollahs fighting with a member of the United Nations. The Hamas are a Palestinian Islamic group who are terrorists towards Israel. The Hezbollahs are Arabic terrorists as well. The Hezbollahs are telling the United Nations they want a part of Israel and the United Nations say that they gave them land for peace, meaning the United Nations gave the Palestinians land in Israel so they woulnd't feel invaded by the Zionists. The United Nations are saying they shouldn't give the Palestinians anymore land.

4. This cartoon is connected to the reading because it's talking about how the Palestinians and other Arabs wanted land in Israel for themselves. This cartoon is more recent though, but still have the same idea of the conflict in Israel. Both the Hamas and the Hezbollahs are active today.

5. This is meaningful because it shows me that the conflict that we're learning about is still happening today after many years. It makes me feel unhopeful that the countries will find a solution anytime soon because there's terrorists groups and that makes it harder for everyone to agree on one decision. If the conflict has been going on for so long, I don't see how either sides will ever come together and be peaceful when they already have a feud.
